Former US men’s national team boss and New England Revolution manager Bruce Arena says the idea of the US winning the World Cup any time soon in the wake of the team’s 2018 World Cup is a “silly thing”.

Featuring large-scale European clubs with players such as Christian Pulisic, Weston Mckenney and Sergino Dest, optimism that the USMNT could be a contender in 2022 and 2026, but Arena believes optimism is a bit premature.
What did Arina have to say?
