On Sunday morning, two people died in the speeding van that hit the motorcycle near Usilampatti.

The accident occurred at around 6:30 am on the Usilampatti-Batlagundu road near Chinnakempatti
Police said they were going to a flower market in Usilampatti, when the van coming from the opposite direction hit the two-wheeler.
Both the victims were dragged up to 10 meters on the road and were killed on the spot.
Uthanapanikanoor police is investigating.
