Metrowater has started a helpline 14420 to enable residents to file complaints about unsafe practices during cleaning of septic tanks or sewer networks.
A press release states that residents can inform them about unsafe practices, such as workers not wearing safety masks, belts and gloves, and about unauthorized entry into septic tanks and manholes.
