According to mute manager Govindaraj, Periya Adam Math in Udupi has started development and renovation projects worth ₹ 1.19 crore at Sri Krishna Math / Temple.
Addressing the press conference in Udupi on Saturday, he said that the projects have been taken up as per the wish of Pyara Drishta Isharpriya Tirtha Shripadu.
The projects included painting of mute and electrical works costing ₹ 31.88 lakh; 3 Construction of ‘Vishwapath’ for the worship of devotees at a cost of 52.63 lakhs; नवीनीकरण Renovation of a portion of the roof of Madhva Sarovar at a cost of 15 lakhs and renovation of Madhav Gudi at Madhav Sarovar at an estimated cost of 20 lakhs.
The car festival is now being held every Wednesday. He said that the mutt has started serving food daily and all the sev has started in the temple / monastery.
