Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said that night curfew can be imposed in Bhopal and Indore from Sunday or Monday in view of speeding up of Coronovirus (COVID-19) cases in these two districts.
He said this during a meeting held on Friday evening to review the coronovirus situation in the state.

“See the rise in cases of infection … stringent steps will be taken to level the curve. Curfew can be imposed in Bhopal or Indore from Sunday or Monday.

During the meeting, ways to restrict the influx of the people of Maharashtra were also discussed, the statement said. Shri Chouhan directed the officials to ensure that the COVID-19 rules are strictly followed by the people to prevent the spread of the virus.
On Friday, 603 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Madhya Pradesh. Indore, 219 new cases were seen in the epidemic-affected state, Cassinode was taken up to 61,642, 138 fresh cases were reported in Bhopal, bringing its total count to 45,079.
So far there have been 940 deaths in Indore and 621 in Bhopal. Indore has 1,528 active cases, while the state capital has 806 cases.
