Prior to the Assembly elections, three Central Election Commission (CEC) observers visited Kasargod district to monitor the candidates’ expenditure.
Special Expense Supervisor Pushpinder Singh Paniha, m. Satish Kumar, and Sanjoy Paul visited the district on Friday.
Sanjoy Paul is the supervisor for the Manjeswaram and Kasaragod constituencies, and Satish Kumar is the supervisor for the Uduma, Kanhangad and Trikaripur constituencies.
Addressing election officials at Kasargod Collectorate, Mr. Puniha said that care should be taken to ensure free and fair elections.
He said that monitoring should be tightened in those areas which are likely to affect voters.
