Hatsun to set up dairy, solar power plant

A top official said that Hatsun Agro Products Limited (HAPL), a dairy products manufacturer, is planning to set up two dairies in the eastern region.

H. Ramachandran, CFO said, “Today, our board has approved the setting up of two dairy plants.”

“Details like plant size, total investment and their execution time will be announced in a month’s time. We have to get a large tract of land at these places to set up plants.

“The new dairies are expected to come to the north of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha at a distance of about 150 km. With this, we will be able to serve the eastern region up to Kolkata.
