TN Assembly Election | Deputy CM O. Panneerselvam said that we will sweep the elections

AIADMK Coordinator and Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam expressed confidence on Friday that his party would hold assembly elections in Tamil Nadu on 6 April.

After filing nomination papers for Bodinayakanur assembly constituency, where he would meet Thanga Tamilselvan of DMK, he told reporters that since 2011, voters had given him a chance to represent him in the assembly with a resounding victory. The party and its allies will win in all 234 constituencies and dedicate victory to their late leader Jayalalithaa. Mr. Panneerselvam said that people will win the party hands-on.

The deputy CM said that the AIADMK fulfilled its election promises made in 2016. He said that to deal with the flood situation or cyclone, Chief Minister Edappadi K. The state administration, led by Palaniswami, has done its best during the last four years. In terms of COVID-19 management, Tamil Nadu topped the epidemic and saved people from the clutches of death.

Above all, the people of Tamil Nadu were in safe hands and there was no problem regarding maintenance of law and order, they felt. He said that in the coming years the new government will focus more on growth and development.

By his MP son, OP Rabindranath and other office bearers, Mr. Panneerselvam filed his papers and took the mandatory pledge before the Returning Officer.

The cadre, who had gathered outside the returning officer’s office, honored him as the heir to AIADMK and his late leader Jayalalithaa.
