AAP, BJP made free pilgrimage to Ayodhya

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday attacked the BJP and the Congress for allegedly fulfilling the Delhi government’s decision to free the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Announcement of CM

“BJP’s opposition to the Kejriwal government’s announcement of free travel to Ram Janmabhoomi for senior citizens of Delhi is beyond comprehension. We thought that at least some people in the BJP would praise the pilgrimage scheme, but the party was upset with this announcement, ”said the AAP chief spokesperson.

He said that Congress spokespersons are describing the pilgrimage scheme as an “unrealistic dream”, while many people from his constituency and assembly constituency have participated in the pilgrimage.

“Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced the decision of the Delhi Government to make a pilgrimage to Ayodhya to the elderly citizens of Delhi, which is free of cost. I used to believe that the BJP has some people who are true devotees of Lord Ram and, with this logic, today welcomes the move proposed by the CM. I was proved wrong though, ”said Mr. Bhardwaj.

“The BJP has opposed this move. My question is to Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta: Why the opposition? Have you not taken your parents on a pilgrimage? If not, please tell us or tell Arvind Kejriwal. The Delhi government will take them, they are like our parents.

Protested. Criticism

Reacting to this, Delhi BJP spokesperson Harish Khurana asked how many pilgrimages or places of religious importance were the Delhi government actually able to distribute to the citizens, since the scheme was launched.

“Bhardwaj does not even know the names of places that Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta has taken to his parents for a pilgrimage. Since the elections in Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh are in every corner, these people have suddenly remembered Lord Ram.
