Police said nine people died on Thursday morning when an SUV collided with a tractor-trolley in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh.
Three other people injured in the accident are hospitalized, said Agra Superintendent of Police Bablu Kumar.
He said that the incident took place at 5 am in Etmaduddaula police station area on the Agra-Kanpur highway.
“The high speed SUV crossed over to the other side of the road where the tractor-trolley collided. 12 people were injured and rushed to the hospital, where nine of them succumbed. “Mr. Kumar said.
