A slump on Sanjana Ganesan, TV presenter Jasprit Bumrah is ready for marriage

India’s cricketer Jaspreet Bumrah is set to marry TV presenter Sanjana Ganesan, who has hosted several shows on sports broadcasting. Ganesan has also hosted pre-match and post-match shows of the matches of the Indian Premier League franchise Kolkata Knight Riders and Team India. Bumrah, who was part of India’s Test squad for the recently concluded series against England, was dropped from the team before the fourth Test due to personal reasons and is scheduled to be married this month. Both Ganesan and Bumrah are yet to confirm the news.

Ganesan began his career as a model and later became a presenter. He hosted “Match Point” and “Cheeky Single” on Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

He has also hosted another premier badminton show “Premier Badminton League” (PBL) and “Dil Se India”.

According to an ANI report last week, Bumrah took leave from the England series to prepare for the wedding.

“She informed the BCCI that she is getting married and has taken leave to help in the preparations for the big day,” ANI quoted a source as saying.

Bumrah, who made his Test debut in 2018 and made his ODI and T20I debut in 2016, is one of India’s leading fast bowlers in the format.

He has taken 83 Test wickets, 108 ODI wickets and 59 T20I wickets. The 27-year-old is among the top 10 Test bowlers in the ICC rankings.

Bumrah was part of the Indian team participating in the 2016 T20 World Cup, 2017 Champions Trophy and 2019 World Cup.
