Disney+ boasts a dizzying amount of content, including every Star Wars film – and exclusive new spin-off series, like the critically-acclaimed The Mandalorian (The Book Of Boba Fett, a new limited series set in the same universe will start on December 29, 2021) every entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well as exclusive seasons that tie-in with the blockbusters in your local multiplex, like Hawkeye, WandaVision, and Loki, the complete catalogue from Pixar Studios, every episode of The Simpsons ever broadcast, documentary series and films from National Geographic, and the classic animated Walt Disney features most associated with the company.
Under the Star brand, introduced to Disney+ earlier this year, there are more mature movies and series acquired from the 20th Century Fox merger, including the likes of Die Hard, The Devil Wears Prada, Family Guy, Futurama, Signs, and more.
Next year looks set to bring even more to the Netflix rival, with Pixar’s Turning Red and Toy Story spin-off film Lightyear scheduled to release in cinemas before coming to Disney+. There’s also a sequel to Enchanted sequel called Disenchanted and a live-action Pinocchio – both of which will be exclusive to Disney+ with no cinematic release planned. A new Star Wars series entitled Obi-Wan Kenobi with Ewan McGregor is coming as well as a new season for The Mandalorian, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and Moon Knight are also all tipped to land on the streaming service in the coming months.
