Amazon Christmas delivery date 2021: When is last day YOU can place order with Amazon?

If you’re looking to do some last-minute Christmas shopping, Amazon is your friend. With speedy one-day delivery for Prime members (and even same-day delivery in some areas of the country), if you’re in a rush to get a final few presents, Amazon should be able to help out. But with Christmas just a few days away, you may be wondering when is the cut off date to purchase an item from Amazon UK and make sure it arrives before December 25.

AMAZON: WHEN IS THE LAST ORDER DATE FOR DELIVERY BEFORE CHRISTMAS?

Amazon hasn’t officially announced when will be the last date to get your orders in before Christmas, but judging by typical delivery estimates, and what we’ve seen from the online retailer in previous years, we can anticipate when you’ll need to place your orders by.

If you’re not a Prime customer, then deliveries should take between three to five days to arrive at your doorstep. So, if you’re hoping to get a package before Christmas the the cut-off date for free deliveries will be Sunday December 19.

If you’re a Prime customer then the last day to get an order in time for Christmas with next day delivery should be Thursday December 23.

For anyone that leaves things right till the last minute, Amazon UK also offers Prime Same-Day delivery for certain regions in the country, and on eligible products. This allows you to place an order before noon and receive the package before bedtime (delivered between 6pm and 10pm).

You can check if you’re in an area that offers Prime Same-Day delivery by clicking here and entering in your post code.

These delivery timeframes are based on typical timings that Amazon lists for its different delivery options.

And as the clock counts down towards Christmas, Amazon advised customers that due to the busy festive period deliveries may take longer than usual.

The retailer said: “During this busy period, some deliveries may take slightly longer than usual. As always, please see your up-to-date delivery date at checkout, which provides our most accurate estimate of the delivery date. You can track the progress of your order at any time by visiting Your Orders in Your Account”.

And there are plenty of products on Amazon’s website which could be in high demand during the next few days, including last minute Christmas deals which offer bargain savings – such as a Fire TV Stick Lite for half-price an Amazon Fire tablet for just £29.99.

Thankfully, if you’re wondering whether your order will arrive in time for Christmas Amazon will let you know on the right hand side of the product page. Under the price information you will see ‘arrives before Christmas’ highlighted in green if the item you’re after will arrive before December 25.

While the above timings will hopefully help you out and be a guide, Express.co.uk has also contacted Amazon UK to confirm exactly when will be the cut-off date for different types of Christmas orders.
