Bought a Samsung 4K TV recently? You’ve just received a brand new freebie to try out today

Samsung 4K TV owners now have access to a wealth of extra content on the house, thanks to a new freebie the South Korean tech giant has just launched. Earlier this year the leading 4K TV maker launched Smart Start, a promotion that bundled in over £200 worth of subscriptions to popular apps such as YouTube Premium, Britbox and lossless music streaming service TIDAL. And it’s emerged this week that a new channel – called NextUp – has now been bundled in with Samsung Smart Start.

This service offers “the very best of the UK’s comedy scene”, where you can tune in to live performances from the likes of Reginald D. Hunter and Josie Long, plus on-demand specials from performers such as Ed Byrne.

Access to NextUp is usually priced at £6.99 per month, or just under £24 for the entire year.

And with Samsung Smart Start you’ll now get three months of membership for the comedy streaming service thrown in for free.

This freebie will be available to anyone that purchased a 2020 and 2021 Samsung Smart TV and activates it between 30 June 2021 and 6 January 2022.

This means if you managed to pick up a Samsung Smart TV at a bargain price during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales – or are planning to grab one in the Boxing Day sales – you’ll be treated to an extra reward.
