Sky Glass is a brand new and hugely intriguing concept. This clever TV, which launched back in October, ditches the need for a dish with content now beamed to the big screen via a broadband connection. Recordings are all stored in the cloud meaning there are worries about a hard disk running out of space and owners even get a soundbar built in to help boost the audio.
This all-in-one system also makes installation a breeze with one plug and a single cable powering everything – there’s not even a separate set-top box as everything that’s needed to watch telly is tucked behind the display.
Sky Glass arrives in three screen sizes (43, 55 and 65-inch) plus there’s a swathe of colours to choose from with Sky even releasing Pink, Blue and Green models in a bid to suit all styles and tastes.
Customers can take delivery of this telly in return for a monthly fee with prices starting from £13 per month but if you’re a little unsure about signing up don’t panic as there’s now the ultimate way to try before you buy.

SKY GLASS REVIEW: Could be the future of TV, but don’t ditch your Sky Q box just yet
This isn’t the first experience store that Sky has opened but it is one of the firm’s biggest and most prestigious.
If you’re thinking about buying Sky Glass it’s definitely worth seeing it before you buy and Sky is hoping this new store will help make the decision a little easier.
Speaking about the store, Stephen van Rooyen, UK & Europe CEO, Sky said: “This is the eleventh shop we’ve launched in just over a year during some of the most challenging economic conditions seen in the UK. This is a proud moment for our business.
“With Sky Glass, seeing is believing, that’s why it’s so important we’re expanding our retail estate across the UK, giving more people an opportunity to experience Sky Glass first-hand. Our shops showcase the future of home entertainment and connectivity – we look forward to opening our doors and sharing the full experience with customers”
