Black Friday might not arrive until November 26, but the starting gun has already been fired. And Sky is one of the brands to launch discounts across its products ahead of the sales event. Whether you’re looking to cut the cost of your monthly broadband bills, secure a brilliant SIM deal for your current phone, get 50% off the latest iPhone 13 and Samsung Galaxy S21, or get the award-winning Sky Q set-top box under your telly for the “best ever price” – your wishes have been answered by Sky’s Black Friday bonanza.
Sky has slashed the cost of its Superfast Broadband plan down to £25 a month. For that, you’ll enjoy speeds up to 59Mbps with unlimited downloads for 18 months. That’s a saving of £54 compared to the price of the same broadband bundle a few weeks ago – or, in other words, that saving will cover the cost of a Netflix subscription for nine months, so you’ll have plenty of blockbusters and binge-worthy boxsets to enjoy on your new broadband connection.
Want a deal on telly? Sky Q is available with the same Superfast Broadband bundle above for £32 a month – that’s the “best ever price,” according to Sky. Given that it’s just £7 a month more than broadband alone, it is a great deal for the award-winning Sky Q box. This clever set-top box lets you rewind and pause live television, use voice search to switch between channels, launch streaming apps like Netflix and Prime Video, or find films from specific directors or starring specific actors. However, it’s important to stress that Sky’s Black Friday deal arrives without access to some of the biggest Sky TV channels, like Sky Comedy and Sky Atlantic, which has the rights to some of the biggest US dramas, like Succession, Little Big Lies, Mare Of Easttown, and The White Lotus. For that, you’ll need to spend an extra £10.
If you’re looking for a discount to some of the most-popular exclusive shows from Sky, BT TV has some incredible half price deals at the moment.
If you want to upgrade to the latest iPhone or Samsung Galaxy, Sky has a mind-bogglingly good deal. The company has cut the cost of its 60GB mobile data allowance in half. Instead of costing £30 a month on-top of the cost of the handset – which can be paid off over 12 or 24 months – you’ll only pay £15. Better yet, Sky is one of the few networks to rollover any unused 4G or 5G mobile data each month. So, if you’ve been connected to a Wi-Fi network for most of the month, you could find yourself with 40GB more allowance next month. That’s more than enough to download episodes of your favourite shows, make video calls, stream music and upload back-ups of your photos when you’re away from home.
If you’re perfectly happy with your existing smartphone, you can switch to Sky’s Black Friday SIM deal, which includes 8GB of mobile data for £8 a month.
