Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3 is the biggest boxing match of the year. The third instalment in this trilogy of electrifying fights is taking place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, with Fury’s WBC and The Ring heavyweight belts on the line. The first Fury Wilder fight ended in draw, with the second instalment seeing Fury beat Wilder by knockout.

Wilder will be looking to avenge his loss while Fury will be looking to continue his unbeaten streak with Fury Wilder 3. Anticipation for the blockbuster boxing match is sky high, with BT Sport Box Office the exclusive broadcaster in the UK.

Coverage of Fury Wilder 3 begins at 12am on Sunday October 10, with the two fighters expecting to begin their ring walk around 4.30am UK time. The PPV price for Fury Wilder 3 is £24.95 on BT Sport Box Office in the UK, but in the US it costs far more – $79.99 with ESPN and FOX.

As always with paid-for sporting broadcasts, there is a risk of countless fans trying to access illegal free live streams so they end up not paying a single penny.

However, anyone looking to view a free Fury Wilder live stream this weekend is set for a frustrating night.

BT has revealed that it will be “proactively” blocking illegal live streams of Fury Wilder 3.

This news comes courtesy of Richard Crisp, the anti-piracy manager at BT, who warned internet pirates: “It’s an exciting weekend for fight fans across the UK as Fury and Wilder will put their long-running feud to bed as they face off for a third and final time with the WBC and The Ring heavyweight belts on the line. The fight will be exclusively live on BT Sport Box Office and I would urge viewers to think twice about watching via an illegal stream. If you are in the UK or Ireland and not watching on BT Sport Box Office then you are watching illegally.

“This weekend we will once again be proactive in disrupting illegal streams of the fight on the night.”

While Kieron Sharp, the CEO of FACT – the UK’s leading intellectual property protection organisation – warned about the dangers of accessing illegal live streams.

Risks include having your sensitive personal information compromised as well as being exposed to online scams or getting hacked afterwards.

Sharp said: “There’s much excitement for Tyson Fury’s third fight against Deontay Wilder this Saturday. However, some may be tempted to avoid paying and watch through unauthorised sources. People are often unaware of the dangers of illegal streaming, but it’s important that they understand the risks.

“Our research found that the majority (64 percent) of respondents believe that they would be putting their personal information at risk by illegally streaming.

“And they’d be right to worry, one in three (33 percent) admitted that they’ve experienced fraud, been hacked or have been exposed to online scams as a result of illegal streaming.

“Meanwhile, almost a quarter (23 percent) of respondents have received a request for personal information while streaming.

“We urge boxing fans to protect their personal information and watch the fight legally.”
