Marvel’s Avengers’ plan to add Spider-Man to the super team roster is still on track, as per a report by PC Gamer, based upon an interaction with the developers. When asked about whether they were considering adding Peter Parker to the superhero lineup, the developers reportedly said that they were working on adding him as a playable character and plan on adding him this year.
“Yes, we are still working on Spider-Man,” Scott Walters, senior game designer, Marvel’s Avengers, said in a statement given to PCGamer. “We planned on releasing him this year, and he’s still on track for that.”
The report also notes that Spider-Man may not be available to players across all the platforms, when he is added, as he is going to be someone exclusive to PlayStation consoles only, which is not a good news for players on PC and other platforms, especially the ones who are die-hard fans of the character. Wouldn’t every fan love to see Peter Parker in the Iron Spider suit, designed by none other than Tony Stark, the master engineer in the team, and use the tech they have only seen in the Avenger films?
Today, the third person action game is getting its biggest content update yet in the form of War for Wakanda expansion which will add King T’Challa, more popularly known as Black Panther to the game. With the update, Wakanda will be the new playing field for the Avengers. The king of the technologically advanced nation of Wakanda will have some new enemies to face, one of which is going to be Ulysses Klaue or Klaw.
