Microsoft has announced the version 92 of its Chromium-based Edge browser. The update is now rolling out to all Edge users via production channel. The version 92 update brings a host of new features, enhancements and security updates to Edge. Here’s everything that’s new with the Edge 92 update.
The first thing Microsoft has highlighted about the update is the updated password manager. The password manager in Edge has now received the ability to monitor a password and warn users against weak passwords or if it has been used on multiple websites.
With the latest update, Edge can now also act as a password manager on smartphones. This will allow users to use Edge as their password manager app for smartphones and use it to log in into apps and services.
The new update also adds the ability to automatically send screenshots taken to collections. There’s a new Bing-powered shopping hub that will show deals and discounts from different websites.
Microsoft has also added a new Outlook Inbox extension in Edge with the latest update. This will allow users to check their mail right from the address bar. The extension also includes a calendar and to-do list linked with the Outlook account.
The update is now rolling out to all users. You can download the update by heading to Settings -> About Microsoft Edge and check for updates.
