NEW DELHI: Consumer electronics giant Samsung has launched its latest budget smartphone in India. As promised the company has launched Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition smartphone in the country. The smartphone succeeds the last year launched Galaxy M21 and it comes with an improved camera setup.
Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition houses a triple rear camera setup with 48MP main lens with Samsung ISOCELL GM2 sensor. The smartphone runs Android 11 operating system and is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 8611 processor.
Price and availability
Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition comes in two variants — 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The company has priced the 4GB RAM variant at Rs 12,499 and it has not yet announced the price and availability of the 6GB RAM version.
Customers can purchase the Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition in Arctic Blue and Charcoal Black colour options. The smartphone will go on sale on July 26 on Amazon India website as part of the Prime Day sale.
At this price point, the Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition will compete against the Redmi Note 15 which is priced at Rs 12,999. Redmi Note 10 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 processor and sports a 48MP quad-rear camera setup.

Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2340 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The smartphone is powered by the company’s own Exynos 9611 processor paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition comes in two variants — 64GB and 128GB. Users can add more storage by installing a microSD card of up to 256GB. The smartphone runs Android 11 operating system topped with Samsung’s own One UI.
Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and it houses a 6000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition sports a triple rear camera setup which comprises 48MP main sensor with Samsung GM2 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The front is home to a 20MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
