Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched its first 5G phone in India. The company has unveiled the Redmi Note 10T 5G smartphone at an introductory price of Rs 13,999 for the base model. The handset comes powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core chipset and is equipped with a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate display.
Price and availability
Redmi Note 10T 5G will be available via Amazon along with Mi.com, Mi Home and Mi Studio stores. It will go on first sale on July 26 at 12 pm.
Xiaomi has not revealed the actual price of the phone. It, instead says that the smartphone will be available at an introductory price of Rs 13,999 for the 6GB+64GB variant and Rs 15,999 for 6GB+128GB model.
The company has also announced extra discount of upto Rs 1,000 for HDFC Bank card holders.
Redmi Note 10T 5G Specifications
Redmi Note 10T 5G has a 6.5-inch DotDisplay with 90hz adaptive refresh rate. The smartphone features, what the company calls, a evol design and is offered in four colour variants- Metallic Blue, Mint Green, Chromium White, and Graphite Black. It comes with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on the top.
Powered by MediaTek Dimensirt 700 octa-core processor, it is equipped with UFS 2.2 storage. The handset features a GameTurbo mode and comes with dual voice assistance support. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery. The device comes with a 22.5W fast charger out of the box and supports 18W of fast charging.
Redmi Note 10T 5G phone has a 48MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it is equipped with an 8MP selfie camera. The handset is protected by P2i making it splash resistant.
