NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Poco has expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of a new budget smartphone. The company has launched the 4GB RAM variant of the Poco M3 in India.
The company had launched the Poco M3 in February this year in India. Poco launched the 6GB variant at that time with two storage options — 6GB and 128GB. Now, the company has added another variant with the launch of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.
Price and availability
The company has priced the 4GB RAM variant at Rs 10,499 and it comes in Poco Yellow, Power Black and Cool Blue colour options. The smartphone can be purchased online on Flipkart. In case you wish to purchase the On the other hand, the 6GB+64GB variant of the Poco M3 costs Rs 11,499, while the 6GB+128GB variant of the phone costs Rs 12,499 in India.
At this price point, the new Poco M3 4GB RAM variant will compete against the recently launched Realme C25s which is also priced at Rs 10,499. Realme C25s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The budget smartphone from Realme is backed by a 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Poco M3 4G specifications
Poco M3 comes with a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2340 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass on 3. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor paired with 4GB of RAM.
The handset packs 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB by adding a microSD card. Poco M3 runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 12. The dual SIM smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and IR blaster.
Poco M3 sports triple rear camera with 48MP main sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture.
The budget smartphone is backed by a 6000 MAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
