Android 12’s Play as you download will allow users to play games while downloading – morningtidings

At its Game Developer Summit on Monday, Google has announced a new Android 12 feature that will make mobile games life easier.
Google has called the feature ‘Play as you download’ and it is designed to cut the waiting time for players to play the game.
With this feature, the players will be able to start playing the game while it is still being downloaded.
In the keynote, the company has also demonstrated the feature where the Play button becomes active as soon as the user hits the Install button in the Google Play Store. The assets will be downloaded in the background intelligently.
Google has also confirmed that the Play as you download feature works on the Play Asset Delivery system. It also uses the same Android App Bundle which Google used to offer Google Play Instant feature to users.
Apart from this, the company has announced a new Game Dashboard for Android 12. The new dashboard will give users access to some tools like screen capture, screen recording and more
