Smartphone brand Vivo has increased the price of two Y-series phones. The handsets are budget category devices and include Vivo Y20A and Vivo Y20G. The smartphones have got a price hike of up to Rs 1,000.
New price of the handsets are reflected on Vivo’s official website along with online commerce platform Amazon.
Vivo recently increased the price of Vivo Y1s and Vivo Y12s by Rs 500. Vivo Y1s with 2GB RAM is now priced at Rs 8,490. While the Vivo Y12s with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage can be purchased at Rs 10,490.
Vivo Y20A: New price
Vivo Y20A was launched in December last year at a price tag of Rs 14,490. The smartphone has a single RAM and storage model — 3GB+64GB. After the price rise, it will cost Rs 11,990.
The handset comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor. It is offered in Dawn White and Nebula Blue colour options. The device houses a 5000mAh battery and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It is equipped with an 8MP camera at the front for selfies.
Vivo Y20G: New price
Launched in January 2021, Vivo Y20G has two RAM variants- 4GB and 6GB paired with 64GB and 128GB storage models. The base RAM and storage model (4GB+64GB) was launched at Rs 12,990. Its price has been increased by Rs 1,000 and will now cost Rs 13,990.
Similarly, the 6GB+128GB storage variant will cost Rs 15,990 from the previous price of Rs 14,990.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 chipset and has a 6.51-inch IPS screen with HD+ resolution of 720×1660 pixels. To perform camera duties, the handset features a triple rear camera consisting of 13MP main sensor, 2MP portrait sensor and 2MP macro sensor.
