NEW DELHI: According to a recent report by Counterpoint, popular wearable brand Boat leads the Indian TWS market. Now, it appears that the company is working hard to garner market share in the smartwatch segment as well.
Boat has launched its first affordable smartwatch in the country with in-built Alexa support. The company has launched Boat Xtend smartwatch which features built-in Alexa voice assistant for a smart and touch-free experience.
Users can set reminders, alarms, check cricket scores and weather by using voice commands. Along with this, the smartwatch also comes with 14 fitness models.
The company has priced the Boat Xtend at Rs 2,999 and it will be available online on Amazon.in and Boat websites starting today (July 7). Customers can purchase the smartwatch in Olive Green, Sandy Cream, Pitch Black and Deep Blue colour options.
Boat Xtend smartwatch features
Boat Xtend smartwatch comes with a 1.69-inch touchscreen colour display and offers more than 50 cloud-based watch faces.
The smartwatch comes with a heart rate sensor, SPO2 and stress monitor. The stress monitor reads HRV (Heart Rate Variabilities) to indicate stress levels. If the stress monitor indicates stress levels to be more than 80, one can use the Guided Meditative Breathing app to regulate and relax with its 3 modes: slow, normal and rapid.
Along with this, Boat Xtend also comes with 14 different fitness modes which include walking, running, cycling, hiking, swimming, and track sports such as rowing, playing cricket, working out among others.
The wearable comes with a waterproof design and is backed by a 300mAh battery which promises to offer 7 days of battery backup on a single charge.
This new smartwatch from Boat will compete against the recently launched Noise Colorfit Qube smartwatch. The smartwatch from Noise is priced at Rs 2,499 and comes with a waterproof design and 8 sports modes. The wearable also promises to offer 7 days of battery backup in a single charge.
