Virat Kohli took to social media to deliver a beautiful message to her fans on International Women’s Day, and she also posed for a photo with Anushka Sharma and her daughter Vamika. Taking to Instagram, the captain of the Indian cricket team wrote, “Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine chilling, incredible and surprising experience for a human being. Kohli and Anushka married in 2017, and welcomed their daughter on 11 January. Kohli was also granted paternity leave by the BCCI to attend the birth of his daughter. He left for his home after the first Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In his absence, Ajinkya Rahane captained the team, leading India to a 2–1 victory.

The Indian captain recently led India to a 3–1 Test series victory against England on 6 March. India won the last Test match by an innings and 25 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The win also helped India qualify for the World Test Championship final.
