On Wednesday, CSK shared the photos of captain MS Dhoni welcoming new jerseys and handing him his jersey.

“Putting our paws together in welcoming freshers to #SuperFam!” CSK captioned the post.

Dhoni is also accompanied by head coach Stephen Fleming, as he assigns jerseys to the new members of the team.

Gautam, who became the most expensive uncapped Indian in the history of IPL when CSK bought him for Rs 9.25 crore, Jersey no. 79, while Cheteshwar Pujara, returning to the IPL for the first time since 2014, received a no. 25.

Robin Uthappa will wear 77 on his jersey.

CSK was the first team out of contention for a qualifying spot in the IPL 2020 and ultimately finished seventh.

They will try to set each other up as an anomaly last year and win their fourth title.
