Gold rises on global climate trends

According to HDFC Securities, gold prices in the national capital on Tuesday rose from capital 83 to capital 45,049 per 10 grams following the rise in international precious metal prices.

In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at the 44,966 per 10 grams.

Silver also increased from Rs 62 to Rs 64,650 per kg, which was Rs 64,588 per kg from the previous closing price.

In the international market, gold had closed at US $ 1,733 an ounce and silver at $ 24.97 an ounce.

According to Tapan Patel, Senior Analyst (Commodities), HDFC Securities, “Gold prices were backed by a weakening dollar and epidemic concerns.”
