Mumbai Indians’ latest recruit Arjun Tendulkar took to Instagram on Sunday to share a picture with Dhawal Kulkarni and Aditya Tare. In his Instagram story, Arjun can be seen standing with two Mumbai domestic stars and captures the image as a “Mumbai trio”. Mumbai Indians bought Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, for a base price of Rs 20 lakh at the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction earlier this year.
Arjun made his Twenty20 debut during the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament for Mumbai in January this year. He played two matches and took two wickets.
A few days before the IPL 2021 player auction, Arjun scored 77 off 26 balls and took three wickets to help MIG Cricket Club register a major win in the Police Shield tournament game.
Mumbai Indians, the most successful franchise in IPL history, will have a chance to become the first team to win the title for the third straight year.

Mumbai Indians will start their title defense against Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai on 9 April in less than a week.
