Anand Mahindra Thanks Shardul Thakur “Making the Nation Proud” followed by Gifting Snow SUV

Earlier this year, a number of youngsters stepped onto the big stage and performed in India’s famous Test series in Australia. Six youngsters who played a key role in the four-match Test series Down Under were promised SUVs. T Natarajan and Shardul Thakur recently received their cars and thanked Anand Mahindra for recognizing their contribution during the Australia tour. In response, Anand Mahindra said that the fast bowler earned the gift and thanked him for “making the nation proud”.

On 23 January, Anand Mahindra promised to gift the SUV to Shubman Gill, Mohammed Siraj, T Natarajan, Navdeep Saini, Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur.

India struggled their way through injuries and despite being forced to debut five players in the Test against Australia, the visitors came out on top.

Recently, after receiving his SUV, T Natarajan sent a return gift from his debut test to his jersey – Anand Mahindra.

On the tour, India lost the first Test after a dramatic at-bat in Adelaide.

The guests then returned to Melbourne to win the next Test by eight wickets.

India then drew the third Test in a thrilling match at the Sydney Cricket Ground and then smashed Gabba Fort to take home the four-match series 2–1.
