Missing USWNT’s friends will shock Macaro, who is insisting on making the Olympic roster after his debut in international cricket in January.
Born in Brazil, Macario moved to the US at the age of 12 and was approved to play for the US by FIFA in January.
The 21-year-old has made three total appearances for USWNT, scoring one goal.
