IPL 2021: Virat Kohli “very optimistic about RCB’s prospects”, says “a good feeling at the moment”

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli is “excited” to watch the Indian Premier League (IPL), as the tournament was held due to a coronavirus epidemic in the UAE after the 13th edition of the tournament. Kohli is hopeful for RCB’s things this year in the league as the teams fight it in different “settings”. Kohli said in a video, “It feels real. Honestly, it doesn’t feel like we left for too long because there was a lot of cricket between us, but yes, we are playing in India again.” On RCB’s Twitter page.

“Although in a different way, in a different setting. I’m very optimistic and yes I feel good about this time,” he said.

RCB batsman AB de Villiers can still feel the momentum that his side achieved in the 13th edition of the IPL in the UAE.

RCB are set to play the IPL 2021 match against Mumbai Indians on 9 April in Chennai and de Villiers feels that the team can go on to win at last year’s tournament.

De Villiers said, “It was a long journey. Very happy to be back with RCB. It looks like we finished the IPL yesterday. I think we have the last tournament.”

“There are some new names, but also old names, people I’ve known for ages. Dan (Christian) has been with RCB before, it’s Maxie (Maxwell) for the first time, but we all saw him in the IPL so much The times have seen, hopefully, a lot of games for us to win together, “he said

Both Kohli and de Villiers joined the team bubble in Chennai on Thursday.

According to the BCCI’s SOP for IPL 2021, all players (except those from the India-England series), support staff, and those entering the management bubble undergo a seven-day quarantine in their hotel room.
