Juventus club mates Weston McKenney, Paulo Dybala and Arthur are set to face sanctions following reports that they attended a party at the USMNT International Villa on Wednesday evening in violation of the local Kovid-19 protocol.
The midfielder was reportedly reported to be hosting an event between 10 and 20 individuals, with fellow Bianconeri stars Dybala and Arthur also in attendance.
Although the club is yet to officially comment on the matter, Juventus are expected to take strict disciplinary action, while all three players have also been fined under government regulations.
How did this happen?
According to the regional newspaper, the party took place on Wednesday evening at McKenney’s villa in Turin La stampWith the local police, it was alerted at around 11:30 pm local time after the report.
Individuals within the property base initially refused entry to the authorities before moving to the authority, upon which the involvement of Juve stars McKenney, Dybala and Arthur became apparent.
Further details are still unclear, although all three players went out of international duty when they were not selected by their respective nations for the games during the March break.
What repentance will they face?
The three players were fined by the local authorities after the incident, but their club is expected to face further action in the coming days.
Juve can only choose to punish him financially, but there is a risk that the club may decide to impose a short-term suspension on him.
