Bruce Arion of the Buccaneers made good on promise, tattooed after Super Bowl 55 victory

A few months after adopting the majors in Super Bowl 55, Bruce Arion adopted himself.

You might be a little surprised, because Arian is a man of style and temperament anyway: a Kangol hat, hipster glass, and an art-house film director Gotye are all signs that a tattoo might be hidden somewhere underneath.

But the Bucks’ coach was ink-free, and he made good on a promise to get the tat if the Bucs won it all in 2020 (they did):

“When I win the Super Bowl, I’m a man of my word”.

The design is simple: the team logo, the Super Bowl 55 logo and the final score 31-9 inside it. The location appears to be on Arian’s left shoulder, which is acceptable as a place to be found in tattoo games. At least it wasn’t on his lower back or his neck or anything.

The Buccaneers adopted the Chiefs by a score of 31-9 in Super Bowl 55, resulting in a shock and ink to the world.

Arian’s tattoo is a fitting tribute, and much better than Rex Ryan’s infamous Mark Sanchez tattoo. Shiver

With all 22 starters heading back to Tampa Bay in 2021, let’s just wait to see how crazy Arion gets if the Bucs go back.
