49ers Draft Picks: Shakes Up NFL Draft In Blockbuster Trade With San Francisco Dolphins

Following Adam Scheck of ESPN, the 4921 NFL Draft has been jumping all the way to No. 3 overall, presumably to select a future franchise pass; The deal includes No. 49, with the No. 12 overall pick, the 2021 third-round pick and 2022 and 2023 sent to Miami’s No. 3 overall pick.

The trade means the 49ers are likely to be in the market for a quarterback in the draft, with the quarterback in play as more than three – or more – picks at No. 3 overall pick: Zach Wilson of BYU, Justin Fields of Ohio State and North Dakota States Trey Lance. It follows that Trevor Lawrence, the consensus No. 1 overall pick, goes to the Jaguars.

Subsequently there is also news that the 49ers are sticking with Jimmy Garappolo for now, despite rumors that the Niners may ship the Garapolo this offseason.
