2 policemen injured in Sopore grenade attack

Two policemen were injured in a grenade attack on Saturday in Baramulla, North Kashmir.

An officer said that two Special Police Officers (PSOs) suffered minor injuries in a grenade blast near the bus stand in Sopore.

“We are investigating the nature of the explosion. Two policemen were sneaking out. He was immediately hospitalized.

The injured SPOs were identified as Mohammad Afzal and Azad Ahmed.

Officials said the site where the attack took place was immediately removed and searched to catch the attackers.
