Police said that more than 14 huts were burnt in the Vasant Kunj area of South West district in the early hours of Friday after a fire broke out. Three people, including two children, suffered minor burns.
Police said that a call was received at Vasant Kunj (South) Police Station at 2.45 am regarding a fire in a Bengali colony in Rangpuri area. The informer said that a litter pile exploded nearby Slums.

A local resident identified as Mukesh suffered injuries while trying to rescue two children, aged four and two respectively. The official said the children also suffered minor injuries.
