132 people tested positive for SARS-COV-2 in Ernakulam on Sunday.
The source of infection cannot be determined in eight cases. No new cases were registered among the health workers.
Ten people from Pampakuda tested positive, seven from Kottuvalli and Thripunithura, and six from Edathala and Chittukuda.
With 425 recoveries on Sunday, the district has an active caseload of 3,989. Of those recovering, 3,418 people are at home, 28 are in Government Medical College Hospital, 39 are in PVS Hospital, seven are in Fort Kochi Taluk Hospital, and three are in District Hospital, Aluva. There are 184 patients admitted in private hospitals.
A total of 5,582 samples were collected for testing.
